I think the extent to which I have any balance at all, any mental balance, is because of being a farm kid and being raised in those isolated rural areas.

Day 365 of 365

Wow the Last Day!!

I know, I know! Not very original, but never the less, very fitting for the last photo! I posted 365 days worth of photos - though they were not all consecutive! But, then, I'm not really a photographer either! Just an ordinary person sharing her simple life with some amazing people from around the world! I count myself richly blessed to call each of you "friend"!

To Marga for challenging me to be a better "picture taker"!

To Raewyn as we shared our very similar lives from opposite sides of the globe!!

To Sharon who has the cutest little grandbabies ever and always posted some wonderful "mystery" photos.

To Rachel who awed me with such wonderful architecture photos!

To Joanne who lives on the "prairie" which calls to my heart - plus she is one amazing FMQuilter!

To Ann, Jeanneke and Shelly who all shared a short time, but touched me with their amazing lives.

To all my faithful followers who often left encouraging comments - Thank you!!

And to Lucy, such an amazing woman, who fit me into her busy vacation schedule! What a wonderful day we had - I'm looking forward to the day when we meet again! I'm a better person for having met you!

I do plan to continue posting photos. I will create a new blog (I'll let you know when I get it up and going) with the title

"The Beauty of a Simple Life"

I also plan to come back to this blog and "clean it up a bit" by putting labels on posts or creating tabs by category. This 365 day journey has been amazing - one to go back over and reminisce about.

Blessings to each and every one of you!!

It has been such a pleasure, following you on your photo-a-day journey!
I enjoyed staying with you in that way on your amazing little spot on the globe on a day by day basis, a year round.
Good luck on your new photo blog; I'm looking forward to (following) it too.

And it was fun teaching you some Dutch :>)

Sending love across our globe, my friend. Blessings,

Jeanneke.

Thank You Doniene, for your friendship, your lovely comments, your support.
Who said that Internet was impersonal ? Following such challenges as this 365 picture calendar was I great adventure which brought together people who didn't have the chance of meeting another way.
Thank you for coming back with the address of your new blog: I loved sharing your life through your pictures.
Big hugs from Belgium.

Thank you Doniene, thank you for sharing your life with us. I loved to see every picture you posted. It was a blessing to meet you and Mike. It was definitely a highlight in our vacation and even more it was a highlight in our life. Thank you for calling me your friend. We will come back and I'm looking forward to a horse ride with you and Mike. And maybe one day we can show you a little bit of the place where we live, wouldn't that be fun.

Hugs Lucy and René

WHAT?!? I can't believe it's your 365th photo! And you're right, so fitting to see YOU in this shot. I enjoyed these, because you basically let the photos speak for themselves. Can't wait to see what's next!
Have a great week!
