The Tale of a House Building Journey
and Other Ranch Adventures
I think the extent to which I have any balance at all, any mental balance, is because of being a farm kid and being raised in those isolated rural areas. James Earl Jones

Day 133 of 365
One more really, really cool "old" treasure:
My great grandmother's 14K gold thimble!
It is even monogrammed with "Kate"
I promise I'm getting back to house pictures - just haven't gotten around to taking pictures.
What a treasure, Doniene, I have my grandmother's treadle sewing machine and she left some goodies inside the drawers, I hope to post some time. Thank you for your kind thoughts and prayers. I am feeling so much better. Hugs, Sue

A real treasure, Doniene. Wear it on your Treasure Island and keep it safe in the trunk at the foot of your bed:>)
Cheers!
Jeanneke.
Absolutely beautiful, Doniene !
So beautiful! What a special heirloom!
This one is indeed really cool, did you ever used it? And if you did how was it, working with this beautiful tol?
Oh, my, now that really reminds me of my mother. She loved thimbles. :)
