The Tale of a House Building Journey
and Other Ranch Adventures
I think the extent to which I have any balance at all, any mental balance, is because of being a farm kid and being raised in those isolated rural areas. James Earl Jones
Hey Doniene. You home is so so beautiful decorated for Christmas. I love the picture at the top of the blog. It looks postcard perfect and so warm and cozy. Yummy Christmas sugar cookies (one of my favorites) and mugs ready to be filled look so inviting.
I know I've asked before Doniene but I would appreciate an extra prayer tonight. The hospital called today and said we need to think about removing Neils mom from the ventilator and letting her pass. I'm so much more upset than I even expected and just not ready, though I know she is. Neil was only 12 when his dad died on either Christmas eve or the day before when coming home from working out of town. I had prayed that this wouldn't happen at Christmas. They told us to just come in and talk to them about it Monday. I feel so weak and unprepared.
Thanks for listening... Tracy @ Cotton Pickin Cute

You are an amazing woman, Doniene!
The cookies look lovely; I am sure they'll taste the same as well!
Cheers!
